Terms of Sale

Last updated September 23, 2026

These terms cover anything you buy from the Nordmeyer Creative shop. Everything in the shop is printed when you order it, which changes how ordering, delivery, and returns work, so it is worth two minutes of your time before you check out. If you are a client rather than a shopper, your engagement is governed by the proposal you signed, and nothing on this page changes it.

Who you are buying from

The seller is Nordmeyer Creative LLC, a limited liability company based in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. When you place an order in our shop, your contract is with us. Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify, and the items themselves are made and shipped by Printify, our print on demand partner. Both of them work on our behalf. If something goes wrong with your order, you come to us.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to merchandise bought through the shop on this site. They sit alongside our Terms of Use, which govern the website itself. They do not apply to design, branding, or marketing work. That work is set out in the proposal you signed, and if anything here ever appears to conflict with a signed proposal, the signed proposal controls.

Placing an order and when we accept it

A product listing is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. Your order is an offer to buy, and a contract is formed only when we accept it and the item goes into production. Until that point we may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if a price or description was published in error, or if we cannot verify the payment. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full and we tell you why.

Prices, currency and tax

Prices are shown in United States dollars. The price on a product page does not include sales tax or shipping. Both are calculated at checkout before you pay, so the total you approve is the total you are charged. Prices can change without notice, but the price shown at checkout is the price for that order. Where sales tax applies, it is worked out at checkout from the address you are shipping to.

Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout, before anything goes into production. Checkout runs on Shopify’s secure hosted checkout, so your card details are entered on Shopify’s systems and never touch this website. The payment methods available to you are offered by Shopify and are shown on the payment step before you confirm.

Made to order, so production comes first

Nothing in the shop is held in stock. Each item is printed or embroidered after you order it, which means there are two separate stages between your order and your doorstep. Production is the making of the item. Transit is the carrier bringing it to you. Any delivery date you see at checkout or in an email covers both stages and is an estimate, not a guarantee. Neither we nor our print partner control carrier delays, weather, or seasonal backlogs.

Where we ship

We ship to addresses in the United States only. We do not currently ship internationally, and we cannot ship to a freight forwarder acting for a buyer outside the country. If an order is placed for delivery outside the United States, we will cancel it and refund it in full.

Delivery estimates are shown at checkout for the address you enter, and tracking is emailed to you once the item leaves the print facility.

Check your address before you pay

Once an item enters production the shipping address is locked and cannot be changed. Please read it back to yourself before you confirm. A parcel delivered correctly to an address you entered incorrectly is not a defect, and we cannot refund it, though we will always help you try to recover it.

After you order

Shopify emails you an order confirmation as soon as the payment goes through, and a second email with tracking once the item ships. Your orders, tracking, and receipts live in your Shopify account, which you can reach from the shop page by signing in with the email address you used at checkout. If the confirmation does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then write to us.

Changing or cancelling an order

If you need to change or cancel an order, email hello@nordmeyercreative.com straight away with your order number. If the item has not yet entered production we will cancel it and refund you in full. Once production has started we cannot stop it, because the item is already being made for you specifically.

When the parcel becomes yours

Risk of loss and title pass to you when the carrier delivers the parcel to the address on the order. Until that happens it is our problem to solve, which is what the next section is for.

Parcels that do not arrive

If tracking says delivered and the parcel is not there, check with your household and your neighbors first, then give it three business days, because carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered before it actually is. If it still has not appeared, email us within 30 days of the delivery date shown in tracking. We will open a claim with the carrier and work it through with you. Where a parcel is genuinely lost in transit, we replace it at no charge.

Returns and refunds

Because every item is made for you individually, we do not run a stock return process. We would rather be plain about what that means than leave you to find out later.

We will replace or refund any item that is misprinted, damaged in transit, defective, or simply not what you ordered. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and send a photo. There is no charge to you, and you do not need to ship the item back unless we ask you to.

We do not accept returns or give refunds for a change of mind, or because the wrong size was ordered. Nothing was sitting on a shelf waiting for another customer, so a returned item cannot be resold. Please check the size guide on the product page before you order, and if you are between sizes or unsure, email us first and we will help you choose.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable consumer law.

How to make a claim

Email hello@nordmeyercreative.com within 30 days of delivery. Give us your order number, a sentence about what is wrong, and a clear photo of the item showing the problem. If the parcel itself arrived damaged, add a photo of the packaging and the shipping label. We will confirm within five business days and tell you what happens next. Where the problem is confirmed, we replace the item or refund it, and you pay nothing extra.

Color, print placement and product variation

Print on demand is a physical process, and small differences from one item to the next are normal. Colors can shift slightly between what your screen shows and what the ink or thread actually does. Print placement can vary by a small margin between garments. Fabric weight and shade can vary between production batches. None of that counts as a defect. A print that is crooked, faded, cracked, or in the wrong place entirely does count, and we will put it right.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or goodwill.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here limits anything agreed in a signed proposal.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about an order will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you agree that those courts may hear it.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page. When we do, the date at the top changes. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published at the moment you placed it.

Getting in touch

Questions about an order, or about these terms, go to hello@nordmeyercreative.com. Include your order number if you have one. Shop email is answered on business days, and a person reads it.
